Gotherington Hedgehog Trail was first set up by The Old Chapel Community Project in 2019 with 88 decorated hedgehogs hidden around Gotherington. Last year we had a record breaking 242 hedgehogs spread across Gotherington and over to Woolstone, covering almost every road and footpath!

The hedgehogs are designed on templates by children and adults in the village and surrounding areas and then printed onto a composite aluminium by the wonderful team over in Cotswold Printing. Every hedgehog is sponsored by the artist to cover the cost of production, who then get to keep their very special hedgehog as a souvenir at the end of the Trail.

Our 2025 Hedgehog Trail is due to launch at the end of September and we are looking for LOTS of fabulous new designs to fill our footpaths!! The theme for 2025 is HOLLYWOOD, or ‘HOGGYWOOD’ if you want to get your hedgehog on the red carpet try to be inspired by films, movie stars, glitz and glamour! To enter a design for this year’s Trail just print off a template below or pop into Gotherington Stores to pick up a hard copy, follow the hints and tips and return your designs to Gotherington Stores by the start of August.
