The races are coming to the Old Chapel! A first for us and sure to be a fun evening.
Just £15 which includes your food and £5 of betting tokens (£10 without food). Food served around 8.30pm.

Additional betting tokens available to buy on the night (cash/card accepted).
Our bar will be open with a selection of drinks. Food is provided by The Shutters - choose between Fish & Chips, Southern Fried Chicken & Chips (gluten free option available) and Veggie Burger & chips.
You can sign up at Gotherington Local Store & Post Office (please bring CASH) or email oldchapelbookings@gmail.com with your food order and pay by BACS or cash/card on the night.

We are so excited to present an evening of Jazz with Ray and Duncan who you will know well from 18 Strings!
Set in the cosy space offered at The Old Chapel, you can relax with friends, enjoy a drink and nibbles served at your table, whilst taking in the talents of Duncan and Ray.

The Decline, Fall and Rise of the Honeybourne Line
Story of the Line Since 1960
a talk by David Aldred of the Local History Society
July 27th 2023 - Thursday 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm)
This talk is based on an earlier talked presented by David, but with more illustrations and a wider historical perspective. It will trace the decline of the line in BR days, from the withdrawal of the stopping trains in 1960, to the rebuilding by GWSR.
